Suncollector

Pi - born 1977 in Biel-Bienne, Switzerland - compose music since 1993. First just Hip-Hop tracks with a simple Akai Mono sampler, an Amiga 500 (ab)used as midi-sequencer and selfmade dialect lyrics for/with his first band.

Hip-Hop, Funk and Jazz had a very strong and positive influence over Pi in his younger days and is still deep-rooted in him.

In the mid-90's the Techno culture has inflamed Pi's love to electronic music and synthetic sound modulation.

The project Suncollector was founded 1999 and was the result of many weird sound experiments and funny jam sessions in the music studio.

First, Suncollector has published the first tracks on a small scale and later the first songs on V/A compilations.
