New Years in NYC

About Me

I grew up in Boston, spent much time on Piedmont and USAir huttling to my mothers in Rochester, NY. Graduated from The Roxbury Latin School in 1994, although upon reflection I have no idea how I survived the slide lectures or the first week of Latin class. Moved to NYC to attend NYU. Finished my economics degree in 3 semesters, transferred to Tisch School of the Arts to get my photography degree. Did my senior internship at Rolling Stone Magazine, working in the photo dept. What an awesome time, coming to work everyday and hearing Led Zep blasting across the office. After NYU I was hired by a photo agency at the lowest level possible. Worked my way up to become Chief Technology Officer. Designed and ran their website of 1 million plus images and growing. Then I came to visit Hawai'i for a week, and decided screw NY, I need to live somewhere shoe, stress, and snow free. Now I work at an elementary school with special needs children, but I get to spend lunch and recess with all of the kids. What a pack of crazy little munchkins! But so cute :) I am a semi serious cyclist, competing anuualy in the Cycle to the Sun race up Haleakala Volcano (36 miles, 10,000' of climbing) In my travels I've been to England, France, Holland, Portugal, The Azores, Brazil, Ecuador, The Galapagos, Mexico, and more than half of the USA. I've also had the opportunity to meet and photograph some amazing people: Pink, Steve Buscemi, Richard Dreyfuss, Johnathon Schaech, Roc, Usher, Lance Bass & Joey Fatone, Gisele Bundchen, Jamie Pressley, Rhea Durham, Lance Armstrong, Hilary Clinton, Stone Temple Pilots, Audioslave, Jane's Addiction, Incubus, Acquiesce, David Blaine, 311, Mark Seliger, Black Eyed Peas, .... and that one time Gina Gershon grabbed and squeezed my ass! Ask me about celeb stories ... some are too funny, especially those damn Sex & The City women ... can you please not clog up the sidewalks of New York!?!? lolFear. It's the oldest tool of power. If you're distracted by fear of those around you, it keeps you from seeing the actions of those above. - Fox Mulder The more people fear, the more they tolerate. - Jack McCoy There is no immortality but the memory that is left in the minds of men. - Napoleon BonaparteA life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives. - Jackie Robinson's epitaphNature gives successive variations; man adds them up in certain directions useful to him. - Charles DarwinAnger, fear, aggression. The dark side are they. Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny. - YodaEverybody's got something to hide ..... except for me and my monkey. - The BeatlesThe day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus…will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter. - Thomas Jefferson Organized religion is a sham and a crutch for weak-minded people who need strength in numbers. It tells people to go out and stick their noses in other people's business. - Jesse VenturaIt's what people know about themselves inside...that makes them afraid.-The Stranger Home | Browse | Search | Invite | Film | Mail | Blog | Favorites | Forum | Groups | Events | Videos | Music | Comedy | Classifieds Home | Browse | Search | Invite | Film | Mail | Blog | Favorites | Forum | Groups | Events | Videos | Music | Comedy | Classifieds

NYC memory .1

A female co-worker and I decide to go out to lunch.  We walk downstairs and around the block.  At the corner of 23rd there's a huge crowd waiting to cross the street.  The light changes...
