Honoring Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble

About Me

There are many highly talented musicians in the NEPA area playing great music and we do love listening to their excellent performances. We have taken a different approach. We honor the music of the Legendary Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. “Blistering Intensity” is how SRV and Double Trouble’s performances have been described. Their passion and drive inspires us to emulate their greatness. Join us and let us know if we’ve created the energy that drives and inspires you to let loose your untamed dance moves. At the end of the evening, we hope we’ve left you wanting more! Not on our Friend List, we'd love to add you! Thanks for stopping by!Bill - T-Bone, Ed and Ron The Texas Flood

Influences: The Legendary Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble! Stevie Ray Vaughan's inspiration came from many great songwriters and musicians. Stevie honored their music with his unique flare and style. Years after Stevie's sudden and tragic death his talent and energy continues to inspire a wide range of people of numerous age ranges. We, T-Bone and The Texas Flood, have thought, "IF" Stevie were still with us today, what might he be performing today? Whose music, which songs, which artist might he be honoring with his uniqueness, today? So, with this in mind we're asking you what you think. Which songs, from many years gone by or newly birthed, do you think would have aroused Stevie's curiosity and ambition to pick up his guitar and exude his admiration for the original songwriter and/or performing recording artist? "Some" of the artists and songs we know Stevie honored with his distinctive and exceptional talents are listed below. Let us know if there's a song out there you believe Stevie might be performing, "His Way", if, he were still with us today. We'll give it consideration and possibly add it to our performances. We appreciate your input and the support of all who come to see and hear us pay tribute to the songwriters and musicians whose music fostered the Legendary Greatness of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Thank you, Bill, Ed and Ron. Here's a fraction of the songs covered by and the people we believe influenced Stevie.
