"For every action there's an equal and opposite reaction.."For these five guys from the Gold Coast the only reaction to dealing with the grind of day-to-day life was to get together in a garage and play some kind of loud racket that loosely resembled music. After being jogged on from the garage by the cops, the boys relocated to a rehearsal space at Burleigh Heads QLD and began to master their craft.The band consists of Benny (Vocals), Jake (Guitar/Vocals), Fraser (Bass/Vocals), Justin (Drums) and Ricky T (Guitar).Originally formed as a band that took it inspiration from the ‘punkier’ end of the musical spectrum, A Delayed Reaction now resemble a heavier beast, mixing elements of Punk, Hardcore, Metal and plain old Rock & Roll to destroy any stage in their path and send crowds into fits of pure chaotic madness! Their music fuses intricate guitar melodies, solid riffs, unconventional structures and awing harmonies without compromising their beliefs and becoming cliché.Over the past few years ADR have sharpened their teeth on the live circuit by supporting both international and national acts as well as headlining their own shows. The band has played with NO USE FOR A NAME, BODYJAR and PULLEY to name a few. ADR are playing a select amount of shows while they concentrate on recording their Debut EP, to be released mid 2007.
