doundoun, asiko and sabar. Dominique was born in Goree Island in Senegal when he was 21 years old he moved to Italy. In Senegal and in Italy he have been playing with different Senegalese bands like Tamburi di Goree, Sunu Africa, Farafina Rythm, Toni Spozito, Jani Morani and Wageble. He has also played on different soundtracks to italian movies. He has been touring in Senegal and in Europe. In 2005 Dominiqe played together with Wageble in Södra Teatern on the African Festival and now he is based in Sweden. He is playing with different artists like Maher Cissoko and with dance companies like Dans Center, Dans Dojon and Urkraft. He is also doing school programs, workshops and organizing trips to Goree Island. Dominique is a great djembe player and he is spreading the African culture in Europe and also bringing the cultures closer by mixing the djembe rythms with modern rytms in the "Afro street project".
