I'm very honest some people seem to be a little taken aback that i won't just go around saying what they want to hear, being honest means that I'm pretty blunt sometimes and can appear a little harsh to say the least but if I were dishonest I'd lose some kinda respect for myself and I refuse to do that just to please others!
I trained as a pharmacy technician in Leighton Hospital Crewe, although I loved the ward work I didn't like the job itself. When I qualified I went to work in another pharmacy as a supervisor. I absolutely detested this so then i started working in the Limelight in Crewe the best rock club in the area. I decided I wanted a job with no responsibility until I go to do my nursing. Then i decided to move to a call centre for 3 months which has to be the most mind numbingly boring job that i have ever done to be honest but the banter was what kept me going!!
Now I'm a student nurse at The University of Manchester, on the way to having ther career that i have always wanted so it's great.
I come from Sandbach, Cheshire its a tiny place with not a lot to do, my friends are there which is fab i would lose my sanity without them (although some would argue i already have)I'm fiercely loyal to my friends I'd do anything for my girls (you know who you are) and it works the other way round, I'm really lucky to have such amazing people in my life.
I've now moved to Wythenshawe (yes it's a shit hole) in Manchester, my flats nice which is strange for nurses accommodation!! I'm missing all my friends from back home though, I don't get to see them much now cause i only come back at weekends and by then im usually shattered after the weeks work (yes i do 37 1/2 hours a week as a student - i actually have to work!!). So during the week i seem to have an almost permenant visitor (my boyfriend, Paul) which keeps me sane :)
I have a fantastic boyfriend, he makes me so happy. He respects and cares for me so much and on top of that he's absolutely gorgeous :D so i spose i've got it good really!
Once I've finished university I would love to move to New Zealand even if it's only for a few years. I'd also love to do some general traveling around the globe. As a nurse I'd love to experience lots of different things in my job role and be the best that I can be.
I play the flute well (which I absolutely love if i have the time), piano (v badly nowadays) and sing (again not as well as i used to).
My closest friends are Jess and Sal they have helped me out so much in the past year (thanks guys!) between us we've been through a hell of a lot and we all have our own problems (doesn't everyone?!) but no matter what we will be there for each other which i appreciate so much. My oldest friend is Karen (Ren) i can't ever remember not knowing her it's nuts but unluckily shes moved to Scotland so my phone bill is HUGE!!!
