i'm that one easy-going guy that always goes with the flow. i use to be the guy dancing on bar stools or on stage in a crowded club raving to a mysterious beat in my head..drunk on life with plenty of good friends by my side... (i wish things were that simple)... but along the way i've manage to keep things on track and accomplish what i've set out to achieve. priorities take hold, life changes in about 20 different directions and the next thing you know your an accountant working towards a professional designation. you realize that there's not enough hours in the day and as time moves on, less and less of those hours are dedicated to those you truly care about. story of my life?....not in the least.for me, the real fun hasn't started yet.. i know where i'm going... my gameplan's coming together and i'm ensuring that i get there... where will I be in 2 years? hopefully a chartered accountant working on an international secondment. travelling the world and getting paid to do so is definetly on my list.at the end of the day, it all comes down to balance... FAMILY, love, religion, work, friends, health. truly i've been blessed and hopefully you've been lucky in your own right as well. ultimately, you determine where your going and who you'll become. sure, sometimes our lives go sideways or things don't work out the way you plan. but festering in self-misery and focusing on the negative aspects in your life make the situation worse, and does little to fix the problem. you think you have it ruff? tell that to the innocent kids selling kleenex in istanbul, rumaging through garbage in philippines or those sold for sex in thailand.don't take life, those you care about, those that care about you, or what you have for granted. focus on the positive, and appreciate the good things you have in your life. and always remember, life is what you make of it."those who risk nothing, do nothing and achieve nothing, become nothing"
