Yossi berg is an Israeli choreographer, performer. He worked with Bat-sheva Dance Company, DV8 in London, Yasmeen Godder etc. Created for International companies as: Bat-sheva Ensemble and Muza Dance in Israel, Introdans in Netherlands, Donlon Company and Tanztheater Osnabruk in Germany, Polski Teatr Tanca, to name but few; and toured extensively: Israel, Japan, USA, Taiwan, Italy, Croatia, Russia, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic etc. In 2006 he created ‘Heroes’ with the choreographer Oded Graf, which he is collaborating with. 'Heroes' won first prize of the International 'Burgos - New York' Award and enrolled in the five best dance events by the Israeli criticism. The company was chosen by the 'Movement Research', New York and the 'Artist Village', Taipei for residencies projects during 2008. Other International awards include first prizes of the ‘International Competition for Choreography Hanover’; ‘The Serge Diaghilev Award’ and the Israeli Ministry of Culture awards for an ‘out standing Choreographers’ and ‘best solo artist’.
