onara literally began underground, writing/jamming in a basement and warehouse in the state of RI as an instrumental rock band. It was about 4 yrs. ago, 1 DJ, 2 guitarists, 1 keyboard player and about 2 dozen singers later and onara is defining it’s sound. In the current music era of radio pop monotony, onara truly stands out with pure original and addictive tunes. It’s difficult to pinpoint their genre, which has often been described as an underground post-grunge, metal, industrial, punk rock vibe. The songs are filled with stories of relationships, parties, vengeance, love, institutions and addresses topics such as voyeurism, computer viruses and politics. onara will debut their first LP, Out Of Print, on April 15th.
