Marcy Lang can groove, she can kick back, and she can just let the sound of her voice do the talking. Indeed, shes got a lot going for her, and now a solid debut recording, one of the best local acoustic sets of the year, is here to show for it.Bob Gulla, Providence Phoenix , January 2005

DONATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPTED AS FUNDRAISER FOR UPCOMING CD
Ok people - all the songs are finally written - the studio has been chosen- and I am ready, after almost 4 years, to record my sophmore CD!!!..This is where you come in - I am planning some fundraising events to raise the money necessary to put this all together - everyone has been asking when I will have a new record so here is your chance to be a part of it.First I will be putting together a DIY CD Live at GIRL SPOT - featuring 4 or 5 live cuts from my last few shows at GIRL SPOT which my friend the EVIL ONE recorded for me - it will be very bare bones in terms of production and artwork - but it is primarily for fundraising. I will be selling these for $10 at future shows.Second - I have a PAYPAL account you can click on the logo on my page and send all funds to [email protected], and I am asking ya’ll to pre-purchase a copy of the new CD to help pay for the record - it will be $15 minimum - but you can donate as much as you like - there will be different levels of contribution - $15 - gets you a signed copy of the new CD - Plus a copy of Not That Complicated$50 - $99 - Same as above - plus VIP admission to the CD Release Party$100 - $500- all of the above - plus your name will be included in the THANK YOU section of the CD liner notes.$500 or more - now I know this is alot of money - but anyone contributing $500 or more will get all of the above PLUS a FREE, PRIVATE house concert on the date of your choosing(schedule permitting) and you can invite whomever you want. I will also be planning a few fundraising shows along the way as well so stay tuned.Any and all help getting the word out is greatly appreciated.Peace, Love and MusicMarcy
