Crashdiet was originally formed in 2000, but in 2002 the band split up, and vocalist Dave Lepard formed the lineup as we know it today.Taking influence from Guns N' Roses, Mötley Crüe and Hanoi Rocks.The band played at Download Festival in the United Kingdom in 2005.Many fans of Glam and Sleaze metal credit Crashdïet.
Dave Lepard [breif backround] ;
Born David Hellman; Dave Lepard was born on May 28th 1980.Dave was the lead singer and guitarist in the Swedish sleaze band Crashdiet. He formed the band in 2000, but in 2002 the band split up, and he continued with a new lineup.Sadly, on the 20th of January 2006,Dave Lepard took his own life after being in a deep depression hidden from family and friends.
