You may be flying high today. You may be the king of the world. But look behind you, you are but a man and you could fall at any minute.2) Money isn't everything. But survival almost certainly defines "everything" in a lot of ways. Do what you can to survive. Do what you can to help your loved ones survive. This often includes making money.3) Heartbreak of the past makes you appreciate the happiness that you can have in the present. Have you ever regretted not taking an ex girl friend to a certain place? Or telling your parents that you love them one last time? That's not something you're really supposed to "Get over". Keep that in your chest pocket to give you perspective. Keep that pain somewhere so that you won't make the same tragic mistake again. I've broken hearts to prove this point.4) If someone can't respect you enough to show up when they say they will, or at least cancel plans with an ounce of respect, please respect yourself enough not to bother with them anymore. Repeated offenses may be simple neglect, or a very unhealthy form of passive aggressive behavior. Take the hint and move on. Not everyone is dependable or honest, despite how much you may like them otherwise.5) Every conflict will resolve itself somehow. Decide for yourself whether or not inaction is truly how you want to resolve any given conflict. Sometimes letting time blow away your problems as dust is a good idea, sure. But sometimes, a gleaming monument should be left in your wake. All stories must end. Why not champion the chapters in the middle there? Never leave a fight unfinished without some sort of strategy to finish it.6) God is often a force of nature. I've found that some people are often as such. But this does not mean that they are God.
