I was born in Rome in 1975, at the age of 7, I fell in love with the drum, noisy and sparkling, the smell of mildew of the wine cellar completes the picture, here something deep blossomed! I am finally a “drummer”! I began to play self taughting myself, I turned on the radio and I played along, using only the hands, my feet still do not reach the pedals. In the beginning of the 80’s, rock became the lord and master across the ocean. Kiss, Queen, Iron Maiden, but also the English new wave, the disco music, and groups like Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet, a mixed of total music that shaped a 9 year old child! At the age of 14 with long hair, I started playing in a hard rock group called Blizzard, we recorded two demotapes, and after that I start playing with the group MindScape. In 1994 with the group Mindscape we produced our first cd with the title “Get Used To It”, the cd was distributed all over Europe from the Flying Record Company and, since being an Italian product was supported by a small production, it sold 5000 copies and two reprints! The 90’s were coming to an end, music was in evolution, rock returned with sonority to the 70’s and the pop pushed towards the electronics, DJ and musicians fuse together. Besides my life as a drummer, I start getting a passion for electronic music, beginning to compose various electronic pieces, succeeding in publishing various pieces with independent dance labels. In the year 2000 I signed a contract with the JT Company for the piece “Sunrise”, that summer it earned a discreet success in radios. In the meantime places where to play live bands started diminishing and the few left start giving space to the phenomenon “cover band”, in 1998 together with different musicians friends formed the tribute band of Vasco Rossi “GLI SPARI SOPRA”. We begin to travel around Italy holding more than 400 concerts to our assets, especially in the summer period, where we succeeded to thread 40 to 50 evenings. I took care of all the programming of electronic sequences audio. Since 2005 we changed the show from the simple tribute, in a small media show, where the ladder follows a supported logical thread from video projects, from day to day the show starts to take shape. I started taking an interest in the construction of making a video and I started realizing some small independent video production, others to follow. I've studied with “Ezio Zaccagnini” - " Derek Wilson". At the moment i'm studing with "Emanuele Smimmo". My history so far is this, I love the groove, I adore the four quarters, to go always straight and strong! ------------------------------------------------------------ --Nasco a Roma nel 1975, all’eta’ di 7 anni mi innamoro di quei tamburi bianchi cosi rumorosi e luccicanti, l’odore di muffa della cantina fa da cornice, e’ sbocciato qualcosa di profondo! Sono finalmente un “Batterista”! Inizio a suonare da autodidatta, accendo la radio e gli vado dietro, uso solo le mani, i piedi ancora non arrivano ai pedali. Sono i primi anni 80 , il rock d’oltre oceano la fa da padrone. Kiss, Queen, Iron Maiden, ma anche la new wave inglese, la disco music, e per finire gruppi come Duran Duran e Spandau Ballet, insomma un miscuglio totale di musica che forma quel ragazzino di 9 anni! All’eta’ di 14 anni entro a suonare in gruppo Hard Rock di nome Blizzard, ho i capelli lunghissi, registriamo 2 demotape, di li a poco suonero’ con i MindScape. Nel 1994 con i Mindscape produciamo il nostro primo Cd dal titolo “Get Used To It”, il cd e’ distribuito in tutta europa dalla Flying Record, e per essere un prodotto italiano supportato da una mini produzione, vende 5000 copie, 2 ristampe! Gli anni 90 stanno volgendo a termine, la musica e’ in evoluzione, il rock torna con sonorita’ anni 70 e il pop si spinge verso l’elettronica, Dj e musicisti si fondono. Parallelamente alla mia vita da batterista, mi appassiono di musica elettronica, inizio a comporre diversi brani elettronici, riesco a pubblicarne diversi con etichette indipendenti dance. Nel 2000 firmo un contratto con la JT company per il pezzo “Sunrise”, che nell’estate riscuote discreto successo in radio commerciali come radio dimensione suono, radio dj. Nel frattempo locali dove suonare live diminuiscono e quei pochi danno spazio al fenomeno “cover band”, nel 1998 formo assieme a diversi amici musicisti la tribute band di Vasco Rossi “GLI SPARI SOPRA”. Iniziamo a girare l’italia in lungo e largo, piu’ di 400 concerti al nostro attivo, specialmente nel periodo estivo , dove riusciamo ad infilare 40-50 serate . Mi occupo di tutto cio’ sia il programming di sequenze audio elettroniche. Dal 2005 trasformiamo lo spettacolo del semplice tributo, in piccolo media show, dove la scaletta segue un filo logico supportato da video proiettati , di giorno in giorno lo spettacolo continua a prendere forma. Mi appassiono della costruzione dei video, realizzo qualche piccola produzione video indipendente, altre sono in cantiere. Ho studiato batteria con “Ezio Zaccagnini” - "Derek Wilson". Attualmente sto studiando con "Emanuele Smimmo". La mia storia per ora e’ questa, amo il groove, adoro il quattro quarti, andare sempre dritto e forte!
