Nací un 21 de octubre, en Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, 4 años después nos trasladamos a Madrid, donde residimos desde entonces y hasta la fecha. Comencé a tocar la guitarra a los 12 años, de forma totalmente autodidacta… a los 14 años aprox, gracias a mis mayores, comienzo a escuchar rock nacional, ASFALTO, LEÑO, CUCHARADA, MERMELADA, COZ, TOPO, BLOQUE, ÑU, BARON ROJO… desde entonces solo quiero tocar la guitarra como ellos… Más adelante se incorporan a mi panorama musical un sin fin de músicos, de los que evidentemente algo aprendes, sobre todo que nunca tocarás como ellos, los que de alguna forma más me han marcado son: DEEP PURPLE, ZZTOP, LED ZEPPELIN, EAGLES, VAN HALEN, a raíz de escuchar a éste último me intereso por guitarristas más virtuosos y comienzo a escuchar a YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, STEVE RAY VAUGHN, E. CLAPTON, STEVE MORSE, STEVE VAI, JOE SATRIANI, etc, etc, un día me dieron a escuchar un disco, IMAGES AND WORDS, “Dream Theater”, ahí descubro al que por hoy, y para mi, es el mejor guitarrista que he escuchado, JOHN PETRUCCI, le escucho y cada día, aprendo o descubro algo nuevo… bueno pues éstas son mis tendencias/influencias, Antes de cumplir la mayoría de edad, se intenta proyectar una formación con el nombre de BACHE, un par de actuaciones y muchos buenos ratos de local quedan en mi recuerdo. Actualmente formo parte de la banda que acompaña a JESUS PINEL, “GENIOS DE OCASION”, y con la que espero pasar mucho tiempo… el resto es para mi chica, Aída, mis hijos, Aarón y Kenneth, el resto de mi familia, hermana, madre, etc, etc, y por supuesto, los verdaderos artífices de mi afición, “MIS AMIGOS”I was born on October 21st, in Jerez, Cádiz, 4 years later we moved to Madrid, where we have lived since then.I taught myself to play the guitar when I was 12 years old.At the age of 14 approx. thanks to my older friends, I began to listen to Spanish rock bands, like ASALTO, LEÑO, CUCHARADA, MERMELADA, COZ, TOPO, BLOQUE, ÑU, BARON ROJO… I wanted to play the guitar like they did!Later on, they were a key part of my musical background; even though I did not aspire to play as good as they did, they had big influence on me. The main thing I learned then is that I would never play as they did, nor as the big bands they were influenced by: DEEP PURPLE, ZZTOP, LED ZEPPELIN, EAGLES, VAN HALEN.The next step for me was listening and immediately getting interested in the best guitarists, like YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, STEVE RAY VAUGHN, CLAPTON, STEVE MORSE, STEVE VAI, JOE SATRIANI, etc, etc,A very special day for me was when I heard for the first time “IMAGES AND WORDS”, "Dream Theater". That day was when I discovered that the best guitarist I had ever heard was the great JOHN PETRUCCI. Since then I listen to him every day and I still learn or discover something new… And well, this is what I like and these are my main musical influences.When I was young, I tried to start a band called BACHE. It was just about a couple of performances and many good moments which will stay in my memories for ever.Nowadays I’m part of the band named “GENIOS DE OCASIÓN”, who play with the singer JESUS PINEL.
