TommyT the Indiana born, Kentucky raised, spirit filled Christian. Got his start in the music industry in early 2000 as a member of a secular pop group. After living a life of sex, drugs rock and roll and complete rebellion. Tommy submitted his life to Jesus in Jan of 2001. In March of 01 Tommy joined forces with a former band mate and started the Christian rock band SONkissed,2001-2002. After a brief run with SONkissed Tommy felt the call for a deeper commitment to the Lord and a new direction in ministry. After leaving SONkissed Tommy spent some time out in the midwest to "rediscover" what being a Christian musician and full time servant was all about. Heading back to Kentucky in May of 2002 Tommy started work on his first solo project entitled Sinners Prayer. The album was later released in 2003. In Oct of 2003 Tommy married the love of his life and Godsend Pamela. From the start things were rough, but not even a glimpse of what was to come. A very painful and discouraging season was underway. Moving from city to city, and doing whatever it took to survive things could only become worse. Within 5 months Tommy and his wife had lost their jobs, had to give up their home, lost their first child and Tommy's grandmother to cancer. While being at the end of his faith rope, all Tommy could do was ask God " How do I keep myself from letting go, when doubt and failure is all I've ever known?" Discoured to the point of wanting to give up music and walk away from it all, Tommy's wife took him on his birthday to a MercyMe and Jeremy Camp concert. It was an unforgetable night that would ignite the fire again in Tommy's spirit. With a new breathe of fresh air, and the passion to to tell others about Jesus, Tommy and his wife moved to Sandusky, OH and spent the next three years there. While there Tommy was able to become more equipped in the Word of God and in ministry while serving under the Rev Porter Richards. While totally learning to walk by faith, believing in the impossible and thinking the unthinkable, Tommy has a song and a story to share with everyone the love of Christ, and to take all of those things that God has allowed him to go through and turn it into a blessing for someone else. Tommy is still writing new songs and playing shows as much as possible, and the goal for 2008 is a new album followed by a promotional tour. So God bless you and look for TommyT in a city near you...
