Hi! I am Joyce, although most people call me Mom because I have such a nurturing spirit. Family is important to me. I am a mother of 2 adult children and the grandmama of three. Born and still living in the Southern part of the country, I am a preacher's kid with 9 siblings. My father introduced me to Jesus, taught me, baptized me and even officiated at my wedding. I was blessed to never have to look past the family room at my home to find two great role models because my parents were that role model. Some of the things I like...My favorite colors are purple and peach. I enjoy listening to Gospel music especially traditional gospel. I enjoy reading, cooking, and writing plays for children and writing youth & devotional messages. I love to laugh. It is a great healer. There's nothing like a good joke to make me feel better. Teaching children is a passion of mine. It is a divine calling.

My Interests

Surfing the Web, coordinating special events like weddings, anniversry parties, etc. are some of my interests. I also enjoy cooking and collecting cherubs. A passion of mine is writing plays and devotionals especially for children.My main interest is to stay in the will of God.

Music:

Gospel, Praise and Worship and old school R & B ballards are my favorites....I have created this playlist for inspiration for all who visit this site as well my own personal inspiration and worship...

Movies:

My favorite movies are "Passion of the Christ", "Soul Food", "The Preacher's Wife", All of Tyler Perry Movies and Plays,"Steel Magnolias","Coach Carter", Lean on Me, Dreamgirls,....and the list goes on...

Television:

I admit I do enjoy watching TV. All of the Law and Order shows, ER, House, comedy sitcoms, especially the older re-runs, gospel videos and award show. Sunday's Best on BET has become a favorite of mine.

Books:

Jacquelin Thomas - This Christian Fiction Author is my favorite. I also enjoy reading Travis Hunter's works.
