About Me

i am still very much all about the records. i help around a record store on saturdays where i am back in charge of ordering from a few independent distros. i like to talk music quite a bit, but i typically won't unleash my drone-on music conversation/factoid-spilling unless someone else starts up first. also, i traded in my past "music snobbery" for music appreciation awhile back, so none of that elitist bullshit from me.
currently looking for a new job that is nothing like the old job i had. big, corporate offices, cubicles and i just do not mix. this has been proven twice now and that is a shit-sure sign if i ever needed one. wish me luck out there in the world.
i still write poetry from time to time. although i kinda got lost in writing down a lot of the same shit over and over again. seeking new inspiration for more, new non-rhymes.
i am often nervous or anxious. this has often been mistaken in public for being a completely standoffish bitch. i am definitely not so much of a bitch as i am utterly and awkwardly socially retarded.
i am always up for nature-adventuring and road trips, mixtapes and decent shows. i am a big fan of hilarity and country drives and hangout. i currently have wanderlust and am so itchy to see more places on the map.
i totally adore handholding and jumping off swings at night, secret adventures and secret languages. seriously. there is nothing like the onset of love.
i am very lucky to have some of the closest, best friendships i have had in my life. this spring and summer have brought along a lot of new, great things among family and friends.
some days i am 13. sometimes i am 30. some days i am 85. i am fascinated with all the lessons learned and experiences i have had so far, and look forward to whatever the hell might be ahead.
