Poison The Innocent… is about going against all odds and logic and always speaking his mind. P.T.I has spent the early portion of his career honing and toning his skills and the way he delivers. His music has been designed and influenced based on daily life and occurrences.
Born and raised on the East Coast , blending rap and rock styles is only the beginning of the story. Releasing several demos and LPS over a 2 year period, Poison The Innocent is more than just a solo hip hop artist. His upcoming release "Ignite This" will be dropping late summer/early winter.
Poison The Innocent is at the center of a constantly growing movement - a conglomeration of different crowds of all ages- "They range from people who love hip-hop to hard rock to older adults and teenagers. It was never set out to be designed for one type of crowd, and never designed to fit one particular genre. Poison The Innocent raps about what he feels needs to be listened to by others, whether its about the freedom of speech, free thinking or just speaking your mind. You can't really stereotype it.
Poison The Innocent has been working non-stop since the release of "See Me Rise" in August 2005. "Every time I work on new material, its definitely about life and just the world we live in" P.T.I said. "Im always working on new songs to set a new mark and raise the bar for the next person out there". After being cornered by several labels after the release of "See Me Rise", Poison The Innocent realized in order to get his message across and do things his way, it needs to be independent. "Im able to work at our my pace, make my own decisions and just do what I do." Since the release of "See Me Rise", Poison The Innocent has been working in and out of the studio releasing both new tracks for his fans, as well as releasing his clothing line to the masses, Scandiliz Clothing.
"The Clothing Line is about the message, and power that people only talk about, but no one acts upon, its about pushing the envelope, and expressing and speaking your mind."
But with everything on Poison The Innocents plate, one wonders, where does he have the time to work with a charity and donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales of his clothing line to "Make-A-Wish-Foundation? "its Unfortunate that we live in a world, where our government is more concerned with how many bullets we should buy in Iraq, and running the lottery for $25 million, when we have millions of civilians right here on US soil stricken with poverty".
