DiF.

A Lima, Peru native now residing in Barcelona, Italian-blooded Diego Figari (A.K.A DiF.) has broken into the scene with his own unique blend of Minimal Tech-House /Techno.
Diego’s taste, coupled with his research and digging, always suggests an undeniable groove and tickles the chin-scratching trainspotting senses, involving the crowd in deep hypnotic journeys of dark experimental sounds and textures, as well as taking the dance floor to full-on peak-time moments.
Diego was always exposed to music in his early childhood and was drawn towards learning and playing certain musical instruments, starting with the violin, playing for his school’s band at the age of 10 and playing the drums in his own band at the age of 13.
It was At the age of 16 that Diego found his calling in electronic music having first gone through a phase of numerous music styles in his band, Diego traded-in His Drum set for a pair of Turntables and since then never looked back. His growing skills were demonstrating that he was here to stay and it was this that got him a residency at P.M, a local club in his hometown.
Being soaked in music for a few years and playing weekly at numerous peruvian clubs and events, it only seemed natural for Diego to pursue Electronic music composition and production.
Nowadays DiF has a lot of work in his hands!, we can already hear some of his latest work on this space!. Currently Diego is Studying Audio Engineering and overall music production at SAE, the biggest network of audio engineering schools in the world. After gaining experience and knowledge, Diego has launched his own music label: Raised Music.
Although Diego is pretty busy most of the time managing and working as an A&R for his own label, he still is releasing tracks on other labels , Check out the new SiteHolder Records release called Tumble Dry Low EP featuring 'Fuzzyhead' a 'Fun techy track that is destined to be heard on your local underground club's sound system'-siteholder.net-
