About Me

I'm from The Wirral, I live in Liverpool. I went to Plymouth Uni but studied in Exmouth and Exeter and miss them both!

I've travelled a fair bit. I went travelling in Australia for 6 months in 1994/1995.......that is I travelled from my uncle and aunts house in Rockingham WA to the beach in Rockingham WA daily for 6 months with the occasional trip To Freo and Perth! (actually I did spend 2 weeks "backpacking roun WA, so I can say I went travelling around Australia....sort of!)

I did Camp America at Camp Lokanda upstate New York. That was ok......actually the work bit sucked, but I did get to go to New York City, Toronto and Niagara Falls. My Greyhound ticket for the entire country was returned (and so was I, back home)when I dislocated my shoulder playing footie just before I was due to set off...bastard.

In 2002 I went to Liverpool University to do a TEFL course. The intention was to teach abroad...Japan, maybe Italy. What happened was that I met my Sarah, moved in with her and have never been happier!

I'm now half-way through my PGCE and considering I'm still on the course things must be going ok!!

I play bass reasonably well considering I've been at it for nearly sixteen years. I mean, I should be getting the hang of it by now, right?

I love listening to music in the sun with a cold beer and my girlfriend by my side! Remember....cheesy cliches are so often the truth.

I don't discriminate. I try to like everyone I meet.....but.... I am aware that this isnt possible. Dont feel bad. Who says I'm right about everything eh?

I am a massive Tranmere fan. That means I actually spend lots of time and money travelling the country every week to see them play even when we are CRAP! I've seen them play at 118 different grounds in England and Wales and have been going since 1980.

I AM NOT A FOOTBALL NERD!!! AND I AM NOT A FOOTBALL HOOLIGAN! I am well read, nicely spoken, come from a decent background and have a good education (not always appreciated at the time!!) This doesnt mean I can't be into me footie as well.

For that matter it doesn't mean I can't be into my music either. Some people are so "either, or" Do what makes you happy....just don't hurt anyone while you're at it!
