Band Members: Resident DJ *Dr909 began his early career at Island based record shop 'Switched On' records. After leaving for Manchester DR909 has had his fingers in many pies so to speak! As well as experimenting as a producer DR909 has also embarked on a 5 day tour of New York playing at various spots round the city.
When it comes to DJing DR 909 basically plays a variety of House, Electro, Breakbeats, and Techno (a general assortment of bleeps & bleeps) ................DJ Junka Funk is a long serving resident at Aperitivo. The determination to present a set with an electic but funky sound has resulted in DJ Junka Funk playing at numerous venues in England where he is now based. DJ Junka Funk plays a hand picked selection of hip hop, funk, soul, jazz, latin, disco, afrobeat, house, electro, breaks, reggae and rhythm & blues, but in short, good, varied, funky music!
