About Me

I'm just a happy-go-lucky cat who has found herself in Bangkok. I spent some time in Japan. Around 1650 I got my first glimpse of fame when an emperor saw me waving at him. The truth was, I was waving at him because he was carrying a tin of sardines, but when he came over to see me he avoided a trap that some bandits had laid for him up the road. He figured out I was good luck and took me in and made me a princess.

Life was great until I was catnapped and forced to live in America. I spent some time giving speeches to other cats and humans, and was a presenter for CNN for several years. I won a Grammy once. I now live in Bangkok and run Lucky Cat TV. I take a behind-the-scenes role for this one. I've had enough of the limelight.

My Interests

Eating fish, sardines, chasing mice, waving, bringing people luck.

I'd like to meet:

Other cats, mice, some rabbits.

Music:

I don't have much time for music these days, but when I get a moment I normally listen to Felix Da Housecat and Cat Stevens. I once formed my own bands, The Cats, but we didn't achieve much success.

Movies:

My favorite films are The Cat From Outer Space, Catwoman, The Truth About Cats and Dogs, and the new Mr. Bean Movie

Television:

Topcat, Felix The Cat, Doraemon

Books:

Scaredy Cat by Mark Billingham

Heroes:

Garfield, first and foremost for everything he's done for cats. Then I would have to say Tom from Tom and Jerry, because he taught me about never giving up. I should also give a mention to Benny The Ball, a longtime friend of mine and prominent member of Topcat's gang.
