i suffer from very few political stances, but the ones i have i am passionate about.

My Interests

accidental literary references; unconventional homes and methods for and of art; tarot and other spiritual pursuits; poetry, folklore, and good YAF series; optical fashion; music and the misguided dancing that follows; aesthetic-ology; hidden sacred places, most especially ones near water or large and lofty trees.

I'd like to meet:

lord fox. iorek byrnison. harvey. the green wizard. ford prefect. harold crick.
oh. and that first guy who decided mint and chocolate would be a good combination.

Music:

folk music is my touchstone (i will listen to dar williams more often than anyone or thing); classic rock; 90's alternative and grunge; some heavy/goth/industrial/synth (from tool to ; southern rock; orchestral renditions of Tool;approximately four country songs; selective modern rock; some european techno and//or pop; and white-boy silly rap (like MC Lars) i have a soft spot in my heart for music from the 20s to the 40s, and the music of today inspired or reminiscent of it (like amy winhouse)

Movies:

films about the psychosis, artistic new-age films, cheesy films, horror and more horror, b-rated movies.

Television:

buffy, carnivale, battlestar galactica, veronica mars, red dwarf....mostly the now on dvd stuff. commercials give me hives.

Books:

mostly poetry; outside of that: fiction that is lyrical and potent

Heroes:

josephine hull's portrayal of veta louise simmons, for embracing a 6'3 1/2" white rabbit
