Peace.jewelzmagazine: you can find out more and hear a little more on sewamouf you already know he's in our TOP FRIENDSFeatured R&B Artist Pimp My Profile(J.M.)- Where are you from?(P.O.S.)- Philadelphia, PA(J.M.)- How long have you been doing your thang?(P.O.S.)- I think I was singing before I learned how to speak haha.(J.M.)- When was that moment in your life that you said,
This is what i want to do forever?(P.O.S.)- I had my first performance at the age of 11. I received a standing ovation. From the moment on I knew I wanted to pursue singing as a career.(J.M.)- What made you feel like that?(P.O.S.)- Being on stage while a crowd is going crazy over something you love to do is a win-win situation, its a natural high and for me one of the best feelings in the world!(J.M.)- Who are you feeling right now in the industry Underground, local & Mainstream ?(P.O.S.)- I like that new cat J. Holliday I think he's gonna be a star. I also like T. Pain, Trey Songz, Chris Brown, and R. Kelly will always be the man!(J.M.)- Is there anyone you would compare your self too?(P.O.S.)- I AM The Prince of Soul so I have to compare myself to the forefathers of soul. Sam Cooke, Donny Hathaway, Bobby Womack, and Bill Withers.(J.M.)- What producers are you diggin, who makes you just start to spit when you here there tracks?(P.O.S.)- I like Dre and Vidal, Slam, Carvin and Ivan, The Matrax, and Danger. But I have a lot of producers right here in my backyard of Philadelphia that are CRAZY!!! Saintman, Tha Wundatwinz, Boykin Beats, The Domino Effect. Keep your eyes out for those guys they're gonna be huge!!!(J.M.)- What does it take for you to knock out a hit in the studio?(P.O.S.)- The vibe has to be right, I never try to force anything. If the vibe isn't right ill go home and reschedule the session before I try to force it. You can't force a hit.(J.M.)- What's missing or needed for an Artist to get heard or picked up in your City?(P.O.S.)- I feel like if you can make it in Philly you can make it anywhere. My city is very critical and it takes a lot to please us. Its also hard because there isn't any "Hometown Jams" or "Make It or Break It" on the radio. You definitely have to create a serious buzz if you want to make it in Philly.(J.M.)- Are you signed to a label or looking for a deal right now?(P.O.S.)- I have a few interests from different labels but at the moment I am still unsigned. However, the way its looking that won't be for long.(J.M.)- How is that working out for you?(P.O.S.)- I have been doing this for so long that I've become somewhat jaded. I'm more concerned with getting the RIGHT deal rather that just getting a deal. Every deal isn't a good deal and every money isn't good money.(J.M.)- Is there anything that always make you to want write?(P.O.S.)- It doesn't take much to make me want to pen something. An arguement with my girl, a crazy concept I see watching tv, a conversation with my homie, I can write a song about ANYTHING!(J.M.)- Where did you get your skills from?(P.O.S.)- Music is in my blood. My uncles were in a group called "Rockers Revenge", they had a gold record and everything. My mother and father raised me on great music. I love them for that!(J.M.)- What is your style and do you have a name for it?(P.O.S.)- I created my own genre of music. Its called "Street Soul". Songs about real life situations that your everyday person can relate to. I try to stay away from writing fairy tale love songs and songs about the so-called glamorous life. I keep it real. Lol(J.M.)- Who are you trying to reach with your music?(P.O.S.)- Obviously I am trying to capture all audiences, I think the content of my music appeals to people from 6-60. I have at least one song on my album for every age group.(J.M.)- We as music lovers look towards music for sum thing, what can people expect to gain from your music?(P.O.S.)- If nothing else people will be able to feel some kind of emotion at the end of my songs. I always try to tell a story in my songs.(J.M.)- Last but not least, what artist have you dreamed of working with?(P.O.S.)- There are only a few artists that I admire and dream about working with . Sam Cooke, Prince, D'Angelo, and Babyface are artist that I'd love to work with. I have a great deal for their musicianship and songwriting skills.
(J.M.)- Thanks for coming through i'm sure our readers are going to dig what your doing right now. Ya'll can check in out on his page and you know he's in our TOP FRIENDSFeatured Video Pimp My Profile

Darlette Gayle AKA Whyte Chocolate Music video starring Dai Boggan
hFeatured Producer Pimp My Profile(J.M.)- How bout we get started by telling everybody who you are?
(H.A.)- What up its ya boy Harvy Allbangers
I’m a producer out of Chicago,
(J.M.)- How long have you been making tracks?
(H.A.)- I been making tracks since I was 10.
(J.M.)- Do you spit also?
(H.A.)- I started off as a rapper and everybody in my group made beats and rapped. I didn’t fully become a producer until 2002 but I still spit a lil here and there ya dig!
(J.M.)- .Who have you worked with?
(H.A.)- Lill’ Mo and Fabolous (Forever), City High (Carmel), Nas (10th anniversary One Luv, Life’s a Bitch, Understanding), Ghostface (Run), Joe (Stutter). I have worked with David Banner, Teedra Moses, Mashonda, LORD Shrewd, Abstract Mindstate, Trizonna McLendon, Bo Deal, Carona Brone, Nike, Comcast, and Many More
(J.M.)- What's your hottest song to date?
(H.A.)- I cant really say what my hottest song is to date, but, I got joints that were hotter than others. ‘Chi All Day’ by White Chalk and MLP was the first record I got in rotation, I did an unofficial remix of the Black Album, which led to a lot of official remixes for people- Lill’ Mo and Fabolous (Forever), City High (Carmel), Nas (10th anniversary One Luv, Life’s a Bitch, Understanding), Ghostface (Run), Joe (Stutter). I have worked with David Banner, Teedra Moses, Mashonda, LORD Shrewd, Abstract Mindstate, Trizonna McLendon, Bo Deal, Carona Brone, Nike, Comcast, and Many More.
(J.M.)- What does it take for you to come up with the magic that you do in the studio?
(H.A.)- For me the studio is my sanctuary, its where I find peace. I get to the Lab and spend as much time as possible everyday in there concocting tracks and songs. I find that I work better after a Venti iced coffee from Starbucks, and with dim lights. I currently use acombination of software and outboard gear for making tracks-MPC 2000xl, Motif, Proteus 2000, Proteus xr, Alesis Micron, Reason, Sampletank, and of course Pro Tools.
I try to make 5 tracks a day and start on each track using a different piece as the starting instrument. Sometimes I sample, sometimes I do it all original, I vary my approach all the time
(J.M.)- Let's give these artist a class, what do you expect of them when your ready to record?
(H.A.)- I expect an artist to give the same 200 percent than I give them when we are recording. I work fast, I like for an artist to work fast but THOROUGH. Criticism is the key to improvement when recording and I don’t hold any punches when giving my opinion
(J.M.)- What don't you like for an artist to do when going to the studio?
(H.A.)- I expect an artist to give the same 200 percent than I give them when we are recording. I work fast, I like for an artist to work fast but THOROUGH. Criticism is the key to improvement when recording and I don’t hold any punches when giving my opinion. I expect an artist to be ready to work and make it happen when stepping in the studio. I don’t like an artist to come to the studio and complain about how long ti takes them to finish, or wine and cry about changes. FOCUS Focus FOCUS!!!! I hate large entourages of people, all my sessions are closed to essential personnel only. WORK is WORK we will chill later. U DIG?
(J.M.)- I want ask any names but have you ever stopped a session and told the artist he/she was wack?
(H.A.)- WOW. I have stopped may a sessions because the artist was not feeling it, but if they are wack all you can do is finish what you started and salvage what you can through the magic of Pro Tools! LOLOLOL!!!
(J.M.)- I know alot of producers don't listen to the radio because they don't want there sound to be compaired to others, but who are you feeling on the beat side right now?
(H.A.)- On the beat side I like what Polow the Don and WillIam are doing, Just Blaze and Timbaland, Dj Toomp, Mannie Fresh, Pharell, those cats are masters at their craft. I like what Bryan Michael Cox and Rodney Jerkins are doing on the R& B side and Akon is killing em also.
(J.M.)- What artist can you hear riding your tracks?
(H.A.)- I got a track for any artist, any genre. I love a challenge and I like working with new people, but who wouldn’t want to hear the top 10 in the country on their tracks ya know?
(J.M.)- Let me switch lanes on you, I want you to tell me who you are voting for and why, i think it's time for the hip-hop community to step up and show we can make a change?
(H.A.)- Obama is an obvious choice and he stands for the people. Obama all day!
(J.M.)- Do you have a label?
(H.A.)- Yes I have a label called JAW Entertainment along with my biz partner PJ Harris
(J.M.)- how many artist have you signed and who are they?
