About Me
HEY. My name is Daniel, but people call me Danik, or Batesy, or Dani. Im 25 years old, born in August 12th 1982 in Hitchin,UK. I come from a small village near Stevenage in the United Kingdom
I live with my parents in my home village in North Hertfordshire. My mum, Avril, is an office worker accountant of some sort, lol and my dad, Philip, just turned 50 and a lorry driver.
I am now with a beautiful girl from Riga, Latvia. Olga, whom I met on 4th June 2006 in a bus stop in Teika, surburb of Riga, and since then carried on our long distance dating for nearly a year, taking on travels as well as England, Finland, Lithunia, Estonia, and parts of Latvia, then on 12th May 2007, at the new National Stadium, Wembley, London, Uk, at the very first cup final to be played there, I asked my Olga to marry me. She said YES! This also makes me the first person to ask someone to marry someone at the first cup final at the new stadium. So, I am also (and Olga) in the record books. Ya Tebya Lublu Olga.
I have two brothers, who don't live in the house anymore. Ashley, 22, football mad and loves a drink now and again who lives in Hitchin with his misses and has a wonderful active child named Joshua. Trevor, 21, studying in USA at the moment, and like me is keen on travelling and loves music.
Like I said, I have a wonderful nephrew named Joshua. Born in July 2004, Joshua has become a handful, with Bob the Builder and Thomas the Tank Engine many off his early interests in life.
I also love photography. If I see anything worth taking a snap, then I will take it. I mainly take snaps of buildings, scency and people. I can't cope with wildlife photos unless they are from the cat family, then it is very easy then.
I love traveling, but I also love movies watching action films such as the Jason Bourne series, and Oceans 11, 12 & 13 films. My favorite television show has to be the Simpsons. It is such a fantastic adult cartoon and Maggie is such a fantastic character.
MUSIC:
I am a person who can listen to all kinds of music. From Europop, r'n'b, to dance and trance, I was brought up with music and have certain influences on my lifestyle. What ever mood I wake up in the morning, there will be a piece of music I can listen to, to make the feel good factor take over my day.I listen mostly to dance music (I thank Ollie Tong for this in the late 90's, but still to reach the heavens of Ibiza island!) but I do listen to a lot of music from European Mainland. I listen to my good friend from France, Lorie, and the slideshow pictures below are taken from her concert in Lille, France.

Songs of Lorie include - Pres de moi, Toute Seule, Tendrement, Sur Un Air Latino, Weekend, La Postive Attitudes, Si Demain, Rester La Meme and Quand Tu Danses. Fantastic Songs. Most of Lorie songs are aimed at the children and teenagers at first when she first hit the scence back in 2001, but now Lorie, who recently celebrated her 25th birthday on 4th May 2007, her songs are more for the grown ups. Rester La Meme, a fantasitc song, and the last set of concerts "Livetour" back in 2006 was a huge hit with her fans. Maybe a new album and tour is on the way, who knows? Secret! Lorie is still yet to make an apperance in England, even though she can speak good English. Also has hit mainly in Europe, Canada, and Japan.
I just love the above music video, for this years entry from Belarus for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007. Sang by DMITRY DIMA and the song is called "Work Your Magic". I just love the video and love the werid acting. Very soviet!

I also listen to Alizee (another French female solo artist), who did have a top 10 hit in England with Moi Loita back in 2002. She has recently taken a break from her music career to get married to another French pop singer and had a baby last year. She is rumoured to returning back to the studio for her third album.
