Jaroslaw Bothur is a student of the Jazz Institute of the Music Academy in Katowice.Winner of the following prizes:- Grand Prix of the XX Jazz Standards Festival in Siedlce 2006 (with Bednarska Five)- Grand Prix of the III Nadzieje Warszawy (Hopes of Warsaw) Jazz Festival 2007 (with Bogna Kicinska’s quintet)- Distinction for his compositions at the I European Music Integration Jazz Festival in Zyrardow 2005
