Andre Ernst

Born in the Catskill mountains in August of 1984 sir name Andre R Ernst Andre first took to music at a young age in a musical family where his father plays the violin and various uncles and ants play every thing from bagpipes to guitar. Young Andre started on the violin due to his fathers influence but strayed away to the guitar for the love of the sound also strong in Andre’s family was a love for traditional Irish music and folk with influences from Bob Dylan, Christy Moore, and Planxty to name a few also rock influnces such as the Steve miller band, the band, Weezer, and Dire Straights started Andre on to a style that is hard to catagorize.In early 2000 he started to play various open mics in the saratoga area and later started to play with his father creating the Celtic folk due Left Of Starboard.
