History of Madric!!!The history of MADRIC began actually with the band SOUNDRAID. The former members were Sven Behrens and Ulli Vetter (Drums). As SOUNDRAID was complete staffed,
they decided to play a new kind of music, which was different from their old songs. Due to that, it was also time for a new name for the band. Hence, the name SOUNDRAID died and
INSANE DREAM was born. After 18 month playing with INSANE DREAM, Michi and Sven left the band an formed a new one. With this new formation they had the possibility to refine
their own new ideas. While writing on new song, they kept one`s eyes open to find new band members. The studio-project was called "Z" and it was also planned, that "Z" is the new name
for the band. After a very long time, Thorsten (Drums) joined "Z" and they began to write a lot of new stuff, which sound more professional. From those days they proceeded to look for a bass player
and a second guitar player. Than, Dennis and Heiko came into the band and made the project complete. Today, Heiko is one of the power unit of "Z". After some months, the members tried to
find another new name, which matches better to a Heavy Metal band. So, MADRIC was born. And with the new name, Dennis left the band in August 2006, due musical differences. From then, they
played as a four piece band. Just let see, what the future brings...No Escape
