Christopher Adam Reilly has become less known while his artist name
'CAR-E' has become renowned and a name thousands could easily talk about worldwide. After eight years of suffering CAR-E was diagnosed with depression, a mental illness with a stigma attached.
Although depression is the biggest illness with heart disease coming in at a close second, it is something people do not wish to talk about openly to anyone, anywhere. After a suicide attempt on 6th June 2006 he was left terribly low, an all time low, a breakdown of life. Feelings that death was the only answer and his world had crashed down on him he was left in a terribly worrying state for several months. After watching a film based on Johnny Cash' life 'Walk the Line' he was greatly inspired by a scene, where Johnny is trying to get signed and he his told he doesn't believe him and that if he was to die, what song would he sing in order to be remembered before his dirt. With this inspiration, after 8 years of suffering CAR-E wrote a song about his feelings and the rest as

Videos have been shown at FACT Cinema, ITV Local, Youtube and MySpace (come on TV!!) with next to no promotion they have received several thousand plays. Music is a powerfully tool specially when using it to raise awareness for problems like suicide, depression, poverty, sexual abuse, bullying and racism. CAR-E has a very fast growing MySpace, he has performed live on radio, had interviewed, photo shoots, articles and countless amount of things that add up to make him a high candidate of successful self expressionists in the future. With aims to help millions worldwide and help raise awareness for poverty there is no stopping him. CAR-E has seen became an ambassador for
Miss East Africa UK and hopes he can get out there and see poverty first hand, while offering a hand to help out. Tracks such as
