Happiness doesn't buy you money!

About Me

I'm a bartender at TT Reynolds in historic Fairfax, VA. I like hockey. I am also married. Jen and I have been married for 3 years, and been together for 5 years. We have two cats, Tigger and Roo. I have a wonderful wife, a great job, awesome friends, and I spend alot of my free time on myspace, so send me messages. I like all kinds of music (cliche, I know), and most of it you've never heard of. Unless of course, you hang out at TT Reynolds. I would sever a limb for an Ode to Abbey/Modern Yesterday/Ebo reunion show. I'm pissed about CBGB shutting down. I like NYC.

My Interests

Science, particularly microbiology and virology. I'd like to get to know Mother Nature's crowd control device before it takes me out. Did you know that we're about 3 times more likely to have a biological war than a nuclear war? Just something to think about next time you catch a cold. It just might be weapons grade Smallpox.

I'd like to meet:

Alex Ovechkin, Christian and Rodrigo Delpech, Rob Zombie and Sheri Moon, Dan Brown, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Jared Leto, and Niklas Backstrom.View All Friends | View Blog | View Pics | Add Comment

Music:

It should be stated for the record that I am personal friends with EVERYONE on my friends list, with the exception of the few politicians and major label recording artists. If you are in a band, and we have never had drinks together, don't both trying to add me. I will not accept you, I will not listen to you, and chances are I will write down your name so that I remember never EVER to listen to you.

Notably Quotable -

"The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side." - Hunter S. Thompson"Can we please crash at your house? We bathe and we'll play you our record" - Voodoo Blue""TheSpeaks give us commanding rock with a grunge edge. "Solitary" has all the power of Pearl Jam, but without the whining" - Washington Post"Rockin' those panties off, two pairs at a time!" - Ballyhoo!

Bands that don't suck -

30 Seconds to Mars, Emmet Swimming, Modern Yesterday, 2 Skinnee J's, 311, Nine Inch Nails, Beastie Boys, Dave Matthews, Rage Against The Machine, Linkin Park, Incubus, Reveille, Welbilt, Voodoo Blue, The Speaks, Smartbomb, ebo, Rob Zombie, Dieselboy, Dara, AK1200 (POTD), Agents of the Sun, Funkmnkyz, Lennex, Bludshot. Ask me about more local bands that don't suck, I just don't have the time to tell you all about DC/VA/MD music, because most of it kicks ass.www.ttreynolds.com (e-mail me there) www.bandbo.com

Movies:

House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects, Boiler Room, Kill Bill, Farenheit 9/11, Braveheart, Scarface, Se7en, and anything by Kevin Smith.

Television:

CSI, Law and Order SVU, Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy, Without a Trace, The Daily Show.

Books:

Dead Men Do Tell Tales, by Dr. William R. Maples;
Death's Acre, by Dr. William Bass.
These guys have my dream job.
Stewie's Guide to World Domination, by Stewie Griffen/Steve Callaghan.
The Hot Zone, Demon in the Freezer and The Cobra Event, by Richard Preston.
Angels and Demons, The DaVinci Code, Digital Fortress, and Deception Point, all by Dan Brown.
I'm open to suggestions in the book department. I'm really into anything involving conspiracy of some sort, and government or religious secrecy. Richard Preston has me hooked on dark biology fiction, too.

Heroes:

Olie Kolzig, Barack Obama, Johnny Cash, Drew from Bob.
