Currant reings from Corn Piece Ssettlement in Hayes Clarendon. His early inspiration came from his brother SWEETS MAN who was a promising entertainer in the music industry. After the passing of his brother Currant decided to focus on making both his and his brother dreams a reality. With much suited admiration about his unusual voice and style of melodies he recorded RASTA NAH BOW on the Blenda Label for the famous EVRETON BLENDA in 1998, this was the break CURRANT was waiting for since 1993. He toured most of the U.S.A and the Caribbean with Everton Blenda and grace uncountable stages where the audience had an immediate adoration for his sounds. Via that mainstream exposure he started recording with Clean Cut productions in New York.
Most recently Currant has recorded songs with other production houses such as Reggae Central Label.
He is currently with ENRAPTURE PRODUCTIONS where he has been recording. Some major played songs you can keep an ear out for are "NAME BRAN" (Room Temperature Riddim) and "MONTHS OF THE YEAR" on the Swiss Bank Riddim from Enrapture Productions.
