I am here for Friends

About Me

SO, my name is Nick and Im 24. I graduated from Willamette University in 2006 with a degree in Biochemistry. I doubt I'll get around to using it though as Im much more interested in pursuing a career in Track and Field. Im a member of the USA Track and Field team as well as the Oregon Track Club. I now call Eugene, Oregon home and am proud to be training in a city that loves and takes care of its runners. Our team is pretty stacked and you can see us rollin out most mornings at Hayward Field. Im extremely fortunate to have Nike pickin up the tab for most things so I pretty much spend my days sleeping, eating, hydrating, puttin some work into my house, or if Im feeling really ambitious, getting out and seeing Oregon. Im here till the '08 trials and beyond so if you are in the area hit me up. Beijing 2008! ALSO, check out my website for race info! nicksymmonds.com ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------- I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather that my spark should burn out in a brilliant blaze than it should be stifled by dryrot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. The function of man is to live, not to exist. I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them. I shall use my time. -Jack London
