About Me

Born and raised in the South burbs of Chicago which makes me a die hard WHITE SOX FAN and former mullet wearer. Stress the word "FORMER". I've been in love twice in my life. Once was Carlton Fisk (the restraining order is almost expired, oh happy day!!!) and the other was a Cabana Boy from Cancun. Oh, those were the days.. I have a gorgeous son who has a both a therapy and college fund. I will let the two causes battle themselves out as he ages: I mean really at 18 what else can I do for him? I would like to also clarify two things 1.) I am no blood relation to Jessica Alba and 2.) Yes they're real. Also, if you ever hear a story about me entiled "Blow and Tow" at least give me a chance to explain before you form an opinion. And last but not least- life would be better if there were a whole lot more cowbell.

My Interests

My son Benjamin and anything that he is into. My friends. I have the best friends ever- they would take a bullet for me just because I was passing out bullets. Love Dancing (Elaine Benis has nothing on me!) My alter ego kicks in every few months when I hit the Las Vegas strip with my bitches. Also started a company last year that keeps me busy.

Black Days, Garden State, too many to list

Television:

Love Little Britian on BBC.("yeah, I know") THE OFFICE. Just about anything on HBO original series. Also a Mad TV fan. Ashamed to admit: American Idol.

Books:

Traveling Mercies, by Anne Lammont is my favorite book. I was bored to death with the first few chapters but kept reading because I was on a plane. Glad that I did because now it is my all-time favorite.

Heroes:

My Aunt Penny the nun. She was the coolest nun that ever lived. She was kind and non-judgemental and loved life to the fullest. She was also a good sledder. (see photos)
