Snopes - debunk urban legends here People please stop posting bulletins without looking to see if they're just a joke! I'm really sick of seeing the "bonsai kitten" one and reading all the people in there who believe it! I mean come on people, really, try and use just a little bit of that thing in your head that's supposed to be a brain. Do you honestly believe that a kitten would survive even a day living like that? Sorry for the rant, but the stupidity of people never ceases to amaze me! If I just offended you by calling you stupid, well you probably don't need to be talking to me then. :-) ***note--I lost 1 friend within 5 minutes of calling anyone who believed the bonsai kitten dumbasses. weeding them out already! :-D***
I hate hope, it's the worst of evils. but since I can't get rid of it, I play the game of life like I have to. trying to find something I can never have.
well since it's 4 AM and I can't sleep again, I guess I'll add more here. :-) Hmm, I never know exactly what to put here. If you read my blog, you'll probably realize that I'm only slightly insane. I am also of the belief that life just plain hates me, but I'm determined to beat it one of these days.
I freely admit that I am a very odd person. As a general rule, I contradict just about every stereotype you think of when you first meet me. I know I look like the typical dumb blonde, and I can play the part very well when the situation calls for it. The truth is that I am actually intelligent though. :-p
Apparently I don't look like I would listen to heavy metal or play video games a lot , cause it usually shocks the hell out of people when they find out that I do. It's so much fun to pull up next to someone at a stop light with the top down and Slayer playing pretty loudly to see the look on their face when they see me. Especially when I'm dressed in work clothes or nice clothes. The dichotomy between the music and the appearance really seems to shock them. Or maybe it's just the music, not everyone appreciates Slayer.
It also seems to freak some people out when I tell them I have a pet snake. He's really sweet, he's only a little baby right now. There's a pic of him Here He's a king snake, so he will get really big eventually. :-D I also had a pet turtle, he's in the pond in my back yard now. I had a dog, but I don't know where my dog is right now. He disappeared in May 05, I really miss him! If anyone sees a little cream colored pomeranian running around lost, let me know! Now I have a new puppy, she's a sweetheart!
What else, let's see, I'm a lucid dreamer. For those of you who don't know what it is, look it up. :-p ok, it's the ability to control your dreams. It's a wonderful ability to have, but given I've been fighting insomnia, I haven't been able to sleep long enough to really dream, and I REALLY miss it! I need my dreams to get me through life! ok, so now that I've said that, I guess I'm going to try and sleep again now, considering my alarm is going to wake me up in 2 hours or so, wish me luck!
