My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Everyone who is excited, challenged, and inspired by this vision:

To build a faith community where all are welcome, grow spiritually and find meaning in the hope and love of Christ; especially those who feel left behind or overlooked in this world.

Together we are creating a place where our paths connect as we journey through life, explore spirituality and celebrate all God is and all God is doing;
- Actively listening and responding to what God is calling us to do and to be;
- Connecting with one another to find authentic ways to experience the divine in the everyday;
- Transcending division and overcoming fear and hopelessness that strain our relationship with God, one another and our selves;
- Collaborating with others as we bring healing and hope into our world, our city and our lives.

Our Values

Hospitality: Offering a safe and open community; welcoming, listening to, learning from and working with others.
Diversity: Living out of love and celebrating the rich variety of all creation.
Creativity: Using artistic expression to bridge differences, offer hope, celebrate the mystery.
Faith in Action: Actively listening and responding to what God is calling us to do and to be to make our lives, our city and the world more just and loving.
Spiritual Growth: Setting aside assumptions and dogma we seek to use our gifts and experiences to heal, celebrate and deepen our relationships with self, world, tradition and Creator.

We are a new church which is part of the movement that is the Metropolitan Community Churches -

"Metropolitan Community Churches are on a bold mission to transform hearts, lives, and history. We are a movement that faithfully proclaims God’s inclusive love for all people and proudly bears witness to the holy integration of spirituality and sexuality. Just as Jesus did, we are called to:
-Do justice, show kindness, and live humbly with God. (Micah 6:8)
-Explore life’s questions with open hearts and minds.
-Raise our voices in sacred defiance against religious (and political or systemic) exclusion.
-Reach out to those with no hope.
-Lift up new generations of remarkable, far-reaching spiritual activists.

As God’s liberated people, we boldly Reclaim our Holy Identity, Advance our call to Social Justice and Action, Tell the story of God’s Transforming Grace, Nurture the value of Community and Build bridges that Liberate and Unite"
