Gods Only Son Provides Everlasting Life – Every Man Can Enjoy Eternity
Born and raised in Luxembourg, Gospel Emcee fell in love with Hiphop in the late 80’s (Yo MTV RAPS!!!!) and turned his heart to Jesus Christ a few years later. He decided to put his faith in action by announcing the Gospel over loops and beats.
1993 - 1996
Black Smurf: founder and member of HLM (Homme Libre Menacé, Homicide Lyrical et Musical) his first rap crew.
1996 – 1998
Member of the MQP crew, along with fellow MCs Habeel Le Rapace aka Willi Sun aka Kalo aka Kalo de 78, L’Individu, Manotas , DJ Qash, graffiti artists Styk, Sumo, & Spike.
1999 - 2000
After leaving MQP he joins Nouvelle Alliance (Jackwell, Asaiah, TNT RV, Cee-Jah, K-la, Professor C, Alinoman) in Brussels (Belgium). The crew performs in several festivals and records a few exclusive demos that haven’t been published until now.
2001 - 2003
Gospel Emcee leaves Nouvelle Alliance and pursues his solo carreer by recording demos, featuring on different songs, doing live performances, and organizing workshops. He meets Steve R.I.O.T. who organizes a New Years Eve party that will be the start of a close collaboration together. In 2003 he releases a futuristic video project called GENESIS CHAPTER ONE, that is co-produced by TNT RV (also ex-member of Nouvalle Allinace in Brussels)
2004 - 2006
The music theme for GENESIS CHAPTER ONE is published on the "Grand Duchy Groove" cd, a sampler cd that introduces to the world a whole range of luxembourgish music composers like Fano, CHI, Full Force or Kuston Beater.
In October 2005, Gospel Emcee releases a new EP called BONNE CAUSE. After touring around Brussels, Luxembourg (DE LA SOUL Concert – Rockhal), Germany (Freakstock Festival), Gospel Emcee gets back into his Audiographic Studio to work on a full length album.
