Lucky and Sdaerd (pronounced: Sa-dear’d) are two of the most talented and prolific rappers making hip hop music today. They've been producing and selling their music on the streets ever since their meeting in ‘97 in Brooklyn.Theirs was a silent bond that sparked not only a true friendship but a long lasting partnership as well. Having amassed a large catalog of music as solo artists, Lucky and Sdaerd have joined forces to form a formidable rap duo whose goal is to show the growth and maturity of hip hop culture through their rhymes.Both artists, since their early teens, have developed their crafts and themselves as people. As a result, Lucky and Sdaerd make music for the more mature listener. They very well understand the “up hill” nature of their efforts. After all, many consider hip hop music “young peoples” music. It may very well be, since those people have never been exposed to the music of Lucky and Sdaerd.Their rap is music that stimulates and provokes thought. Their message is of a socio- spiritual nature, urging the listener to “tune in”.
