I did predict the score because I felt last years defeat.I went to the final as proud and loyal and true to our team,
to see our colours so thick it made my smile beam.To feel the passion in the stadium air,
Home with the trophy back to brooky we would fair.I touched "desie" on the shoulder as he went to see our victorious side,
He knew he was in for a victorious ride.I spoke to BK as he smiled with joy and heart,
I could see he wanted to be on the field with the boys never apart.I saw the Melbourne boys frown as they walked into that tunnel,
The defeat was clear and loud as a bell.To see our courageous Beaver so proud and so Tall,
How could we not send the legend off in another way at all.A twelve year wait for this day to come,
Now we stand tall and proud deserved we won.To all Manly fans your support was so passionate and loud,
I too sung and all night until my voice died so all I heard was the crowd.Now we own Rugby League this past season and the season next year,
