The bare details:
My name's Torquil MacLeod. About 20 years ago I was in a very obscure band called Reserve (pics, tunes etc. on the Sombrero Records page). Since then I've done the sorts of things you do between your mid 20s and mid 40s, but carried on communing with an aged Tascam portastudio from time to time.
The Tascam died about 18 months ago but was replaced by a shiny new digital number in June 2007. "C'mon Simone", "Vital Spark" and "Hearts Like Butterflies" are the first three offerings to burst forth from it, and you can expect more as the autumn progresses.
The chances of me doing anything to make this page look more attractive are fairly minimal, but you never know.
