About Me
Hello... Let's see, I earned my BS in Speech Language Pathology in May '06 and currently I'm working towards my Masters in the same field. I also work part time at a fine wines/liquor store (you should see my bar...it's LOADED). I like to keep myself active and in shape...and I'd rather stay fit by doing things outdoors rather than in a gym. I'm definitely a beach girl- love the sun and ocean...I bodyboard and just picked up surfing a few months ago, so... he ke kai ko'u hale 'elua (woo hoo Hawaiian 101) . I dig art...so if I'm not drawing or painting, you may catch me at an art exhibit somehwere. Music is another one of my passions (right now I'm learning to play the ukulele). If there's a good concert somewhere, it's on like Donkey Kong!! I definitely like going out, but I'm down to stay home and cruise with whoever may be down to do the same.
Overall I'm pretty laid back and friendly--but I keep things low key until I know someone better as a person or create a friendship. Family and friends are really important to me, so I know the value of a friendship and try to cultivate and nuture any relationship I get into. I've been known to be stubborn once or twice (riiiight...), and occassionally I'll let a smart-ass comment slip...don't be alarmed..that's just your chance to throw one right back at me. I can handle what people dish out, I like people who can do the same.
Not looking for anything "serious" right now....I'm just checking to see what's out there...keeping an open mind and all that good stuff. I'll consider myself lucky if I make a friend out of this. Just interested in meeting some kool people :)
