About Me

I used to be a stay at home mother, but now I am working in dispatch for our local cable company through a temp service hoping to get hired on as a regular employee, (I'd get my cable for free). I have a wonderful husband, Jerry, who loves photography and daughter, Jess, who likes to design things. I also have 2 dogs (Tootsie and Mason) and 2 cats (Sissy and Chumsley) and they are all my little babies and spoiled rotten. I love cooking and always looking for a new recipe that is not too high in carbs. I am a diabetic and it nearly killed me before I was diagnosed. I spent 4 months in hospitals in 1999. I accepted Jesus into my heart during this time and even though my life still has its ups and downs, I know God is always there for me. I enjoy attending church functions. I go to a Baptist church and we sure like functions that have food, LOL! I also enjoy directing our Vacation Bible School every summer, it's a neat thing to watch children learning about God.

Cooking, crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, reading and watching TV.

Music:

Different types of Christian. Still like some of the old 80's Rock. Don't care much for Country.

Movies:

Comedy, drama, romance, mystery and good scary movies (but there isn't too many of those). I also like a few old cowboy movies.

Television:

Court TV, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, A and E channel and Hallmark channel.

Books:

My "One Year Bible" and historical romance novels.

Heroes:
