The Policy Gang is a group of eight members. Harold "Scrap" Fretty, a.k.a. Joe Young or Johnnie Vegas, is the group's producer and co-rapper ( and also a co-producer of a song for the late Tupac Shakur entitled, "Only God Can Judge Me"). Fellow group member, Richie Law, a.k.a. Janky Stash, also has a solo album entitled, "Richie Lawsuit/ Slick Justice." Other talented Policy Gang rappers include Kris Ransom, Slow Willie, Loc-Man, Eric James, Crunch, and Goon Davis. This original music was created to be reminicent of sixties and seventies motorcycle gang rock and roll music that has been updated to a more modern musical sound infused with rap lyrics. The Policy Gang has an authentic style in the Rock/Hip-hop culture, in sound, lyrics and attire. It has a style of music that all generations can appreciate. The group members have studied Hip-Hop and Rock and Roll to create a sound that can cross generational gaps.
"Richie Law/ Slick Justice" is a rap album about the realities of life and just trying to survive in a system full of slick justice. The artist tells it like it is over bluesy and jazzy Hip-Hop tracks produced by Harold "Scrap" Fretty. For more information, visit our website at www.PolicyGangMusic.com
