I was born 1976 and since I was a child I always had a passion for music and arts. At the primary school I started to learn playing the guitar but found it quite boring at the time, since the old teacher was a traditional academical one.
Later, at the age of 16, while studying at the local Foreign Language High School, a classmate introduced me to Lucio Battisti songs, which I found very beautiful, romantic, deep and simple at the same time. Lucio's songs were perfect to be played with a guitar, so I decided to take some private guitar lessons, since in the previous years I hadn't practiced playing anymore, and consequentially forgotted everything.
Lucio was a great source of inspiration, both musically and poetically. I started writing many poems, and sometimes also some songs during years 1993-1995. After graduating, I went often abroad to study and work, since my biggest interest is travelling and getting to know different people, habits, ideas.
It was year 2003 when I took the courage to record a small collection of my songs (dated 1995...), even if amatorially, at a friend's house. I have never promoted my work to professional people, since I have always been quite afraid of refusal or negative judgement. Besides I have always thought that my songs were too far from having a "commercial appeal". But after having found out about Myspace, I am very happy to have the possibility to share my work with all of you out there.
I think in this way internet has revolutioned the world, and it is great to have the chance to expand the horizont of our cultural and musical background.
