ZaZzy (Amber Muse, LV)

From 1991 to 1995 ZaZzy got musical education on fortepiano and clarnet class in Musical School of Preili. In 1997 he started to show interest to electronic dance music. His favorite styles at that time were Detroit techno & electro. After a year ZaZzy made first attempts to produce his own music. His first electro track was aired on Latvian National Radio in legendary Janis Krauklis’ show in 1999. In 2002 ZaZzy fell in love with soulful house and started to promote parties. Along with Max Lomov they launched series of events Silk’n’Souls, where he also played as a resident-DJ. From 2003 he used to be a resident on another party series Glam Sessions, since 2004 – resident of Latvian record label Amber Muse Records. In 2005 ZaZzy wrote a track “The Funk”, which gained positive reactions from leading soulful house DJs and producers John ‘Julius’ Knight & Brian Tappert (Soulfuric, USA), Deep Josh (Applefunk/Privilege, Ibiza), Bruno from Ibiza (Buddha Bar, Ibiza) etc. In the end of 2005 track was licensed for compilation “RyRalio House: Sobieski Uogos”, which came out in Lithuania on RyRalio label (50,000 copies). It is signed to Amber Muse label and released in 5 May 2006. Currently ZaZzy work on musical production with Max Lomov under the name of TestPattern. First TestPattern single "Way Beyond" with remixes by Magik Johnson, Cristian Paduraru, Craft B, Bogdan Taran & Max Lomov will be released through Amber Digital (new Amber Muse sublabel) in June of 2008. Music styles in ZaZzys box these days are house and progressive/deep progressive/electronica.
