About Me

This year my page will be littered from time to time with political images. I hope you won't hold that against me! I think you would agree, no matter what your political views, that this is a pretty important election year.
A lot of the pictures in the slideshow below are from my trip to the Netherlands. I sometimes have to "refresh" the page 3 times in order for slideshows to download properly. If captions aren't visible, click on it the slide. More pics in my albums. Anyway, enjoy the show!
I like to add to or tweak this section from time to time, just so you know. So, it might be a little different from the last time you skimmed it. Can't help it!
Pretty good life overall, just not much to it. I'm married, I work with my husband in our office, I love my 2 orange tabby cats! I'm not a churchy person, but I do consider myself to be a spiritual person. I spend a lot of my free time trying to convince myself I'm not old yet and scolding myself for not going to the gym more often.
I love to travel, whether I'm going far away for a week or two, or just getting out of town for a weekend for a change of scenery. The best trips ever were Negril, Jamaica (wedding on the beach), sailing trip through the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, and my trip to the Netherlands. Of course, I'm always up for a simple trip to the Branson Landing or Eureka Springs at the last minute. Went to Tunica for the first time recently and I really liked it - and I went not expecting much. It's not Vegas, but pretty close for Mississippi.
Semi-literate and/or inexcusably ignorant people are a big pet peeve - I can't watch Jay Leno's "Jay Walking" because it disturbs me! I have little patience for dingbats (even though I have my moments, rarely!)
If you went to school with me way back when and want to say hi, then just give me a "holler" and we'll talk about Goblins, Wonderboys and Golden Suns, or Razorbacks. You might even remember me as Missy if you go way way way back! Would love to catch up on what people are up to, so feel free to leave a comment or send a message. I have to admit this MySpace stuff is kind of fun and kind of addictive!
BTW, Bruce would never engage in such nonsense as getting on MySpace - that's way beneath him! Don't even try finding him on MySpace, but you can message me or comment me and I'll be a liason if you want. (He went to Glendale, Drury, and Wash U).
I can't believe you're still reading this stuff - I'm flattered!

Movies:

I like comedies, historical or biographical, musicals, sometimes romance and adventure - it's too hard for me to list all the ones I like because I won't think of everything!
I should go out to the movies more often. I just usually like live performances at the theatre or the opera a lot more than movies

Books:

I try to read more but I really don't read enough-I like non-fiction mostly. I like autobiographies, histories, classic literature, travel books, and books that tell me how to do something I want to do. I also read newspapers and google stuff on the internet to find things to read. I read magazines like Southern Living, Weight Watchers, and Travel & Leisure. Mostly I'm into RSMo, MOBAR CLE's, Missouri Court Rules, and case law. Good stuff!
Are you still here? Are you still reading this stuff???

Heroes:

GAWD! Let's not get carried away with this hokey stuff!
