I started out playin trumpet in elementary school,only to grow bored and needed something more cool,around the time rap and heavy metal dawned,I had a quest to find my calling,or at least to have fun,and for my 15TH birthday March ,1988,I got my first guitar,I remember it well,a Series 10 guitar by Bentley,and a little red Gorilla amp!My uncle Bob got it for me!!!!I remember hooking up the amp to a big 15 inch speaker,and thus the quest for music began!!!!
Self taught except for some minor lessons back at Joyfull Sound in Rocky Point,Long Island,N.Y., I just wanted to take all I heard in add my own thing and Make something passionate and powerfully expressive at the same time!!!
I have stopped playing on and off for several years,be it health,hand injuries,bad relationships,money,etc but I have come full circle and have discovered the fun and joys of music again,Time Permitting,Money permitting,Health permitting,it is very hard to find dedicated musicians and the time to make a band a working success,we live and learn!I have learned some also to pick up a Bass guitar,Keyboard,and sing,singing is also a calling I LOVE TO DO!!!!I can even mix and record!!I always had a natural ability to decipher tones,riffs,and rhythms,so I always have been a fan of music that moves a person,one emotion or another!Over the years I have had the honor of playing with some great musicians and friends,Starting out with Shockwave,I-SLY,San Quentin,Aegis,DeSoto,Jade Dragon,Project Five,etc........My travels have been based mostly in Long Island,N.Y.;Titusville/Cocoa beach area and Tallahasee area,where I have played live or been in projects/bandsI love tech and different sounds and collecting different guitars,amps,even modifying them and messin around with all the endless possibilities,they are tools!!!!I am not currently endorsed by anyone,always wondered what it'd be like to smash guitars nightly,agh-hmm,someday!I hope to enjoy music again and hopefully soon more new songs will surface,I will always be a musician,it is part of who I am!!!!
