About Me

I am just a simple minded gamer/writer rockin' south Austin during my free time. I used to play the bass in a couple of local Austin bands and as of just recently I am about to start a new band with a few friends. I am currently hard at work on designing my own RPG and attempting to diet and lose weight (since I have gained a few pounds after I quit smoking). I also write lyrics and poems when they cross my mind and I like to spend time on the weekends with my good friends.

My Interests

Video and computer games, table top RPGs, a good book, good company, and sleep. I love sleep. I play laser tag with my friends every thursday and I love to occasionally go bowling or playing putt-putt. Oh, and when the weather is right, I love to get wet. Swimming at local pools like Barton Creek or going down to Schlitterbahn is great fun.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet cool gamers, old friends, and just other well rounded cool people. No teeny-boppers who still think MTV is cool and thinks Paris Hilton is hot as I have no time for dumb assholes. Feel free to discuss anything with me as I love a good conversation and/or a good calm debate (and I mean anything, I care not for secrets). Also, I am NOT here to promote your band so if you happen to be in one you can do that bullshit with other suckers on here.

If you have would like to know more about me, feel free to ask. I try to keep my life an open book and I will always tell you my honest opinion about anything.

Music:

Hard, Heavy, and Emotional. Not this fake stuff that kids listen to now although some of it has peeked my interests. No country, no rap that Snoop or Tupac didn't make, and no stupid ass "emo" (men are supposed to look like men). Classical piano is good on occasion and is my favorite instrument to listen to by itself (listening to a good piano player with your eyes closed can create many unique daydreams). To list off some of my favorite artists: (hed)P.E., Puya, Machine Head, Fear Factory, Mushroomhead, Alice in Chains, Pantera, Sepultura, Soulfly, Slipknot, Tool, Chevelle, Deftones, Helmet, Down, Korn, Mudvayne, Nine Inch Nails, Rage Against the Machine, Reveille, Sevendust, Snot, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Rush, Led Zepplin, System of a Down, the Moody Blues, the Who, and Dope.

Movies:

Mystery, Action, Comedy, and stuff like that. I love movies that mess with your head as well, like Donnie Darko or Memento. I am also a huge anime fan. Ghost in the Shell is my favorite anime setting of all time.

Television:

I actually have no clue what to watch now. I miss Heroes and I miss Battlestar Galatica, and I can't watch any new stuff of either series until later this year. I guess there is always South Park and the Daily Show/Colbery Report.Get this widget!
