Mail is fun.

About Me

Welcome to the official MySpace page for Tori Higa Stationery. Come in and relax. This is a little glimpse into the daily grind here at THS. Although there are a lot of ups and downs when running your own handmade stationery company, we try to keep things fun and interesting. Most of the 'fun and interesting' come from our employees. The kids are the best!!! For more information please visit us at torihiga.com , torihiga.blogspot.com and torihiga.etsy.com

My Interests

In the age of e-mails and text messages, we want to help others carry on the tradition of the dying art form of the handwritten note. We want to send the message that “Mail IS fun” and that it’s an important part of society, etiquette, and thoughtfulness. Not to mention that it can be a sight for sore eyes in the midst of a pile of junk mail and bills.

I'd like to meet:

We’d love to meet other stationery/greeting card connoisseurs and/or designers, crafty types, artists, and anyone who shares an appreciation for vintage design.

Music:

We often find ourselves tuned in to numerous different radio shows on a variety of stations, but the best of the best are KROQ, Power 106 (when Michelle & Erikah are here), and Jonesy's Jukebox on Indie 103.1... mustard, definately mustard.

Movies:

Please enjoy this movie about our staff trip to Fat Burger...

Television:

Oprah, Top Chef (until CJ got kicked off), Project Runway, Lost

Books:

We love design books and coffee table books with pictures of dogs.

Heroes:

Mr. Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, the founder of El Burrito Jr., the founder of Chik-Fil-A, and whoever invented Taco Tuesday (discounted food is a really great idea). OK – so we get a little excited about food here in the studio…

So, what is this El Burrito Jr thing anyways?
