I am a simple girl with a big heart that's got enough room for the world in it.
It's been a long time since I've spread my wings and now I finally remember what the wind feels like under them.

I stood on the edge of everything, staring out at the world through tired eyes. My wings were folded at my sides, dried blood and dirt clung to the white feathers. In my left hand I held a book. A worn book with a brown cover and a torn spine. On the pages were words scribbled in ink, full of good intentions and all the depth of a grieving fallen angel. In my right hand, my heart. Still beating steadily, refusing to give in. And on the edge of everything, I spread my tattered wings and looked to the sky as the moon rose out of the darkness and a voice came to me: "Wings don't make the angel, darling. Put that heart back in your chest and let's see what you're made of."

My favorite thing to do is go to WalMart, dig through the $5 bin, and buy movies I've never seen before just because the cover looks good.

I watch very little TV...

It's safer to just stick to movies.

I have yet to read one of his books that I didn't like.
