THAT WAS THEN, THIS IS NOW!!!

About Me

Elder Connail Johnson
Even with Christ's love, life can be challenging. Elder Connail Johnson brings the body of Christ a taste of love in Christian/Gospel music. Life can knock you down to your lowest point but God can bring you to His highest. Johnson's testimony is a result of his tests in life. His soon to be released gospel CD is based on the theme of his soon to be released book entitled, "That Was Then, This Is Now". Having placed his gospel career on hold for nearly ten years, Johnson spent the past eight years serving as the Senior Pastor/Teacher of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Hollywood, Florida. Now this buding, vibrant gospel artist takes his testimony of homelessness, heroin, and salvation to men’s shelters, juvenile facilities for boys, and the uttermost parts of the world. This composition of gospel music transcends generational, racial & cultural barriars. This is mama's gospel but gospel on the edge as well. It has two sides to the coin. In love and life there is sunshine and rain. The music of "That Was Then, This Was Now" reflects that very notion. In the words of T.D.
